Location: Massachusetts | #1 Know what you want as a set up meaning 1 horse 2 horse ,LQ no LQ how big Etc.Then go to a or more trade shows like equine affaire,QH congress where there are different trailers.Take a note book write down what you like and dislike from the different trailers.Don't be sold on all the bling.Look at the safty features and the quality of the welding, the floors ect.that will help you norrow it down for you.Don't be afraid to to look under the trailer.Remember its your hard earned money so take your time to shop. good luck |

| I too have the Trails West gooseneck, 2012 model, it is a great trailer, no dislikes, my model has the separate mid-tack which is nice as your tack is not in the sleeping area and the sleeping area is big. Although it is steel and a bit heavier than the Aluminium trailers, it is solid and safe and has tons of room for both horses and people, hauls like a dream. |

Location: Louisville, Kentucky | I have a Featherlite 2-horse straight load and it has more than done it's job. Bought it in 2006 and transport big warmbloods. It's all aluminum and I've only had to replace the tires. |

| I'm shopping for my next dream/upgrade trailer. I love my Turnbow that I have now, but am getting something newer and bigger.I'd get Turnbow again. I love custom-made trailers that are highly-crafted. Trailers I like are ones like Turnbow, Twister, Bloomer, Hart, Platinum, Elite, C&C, Eby |

Location: Central Arkansas | 4 Star, Bloomer, Elite & Twister are the best in my opinion. I don't currently own one of these at the moment but am looking at maybe trading back into one of them in the near future. |

Location: michigan | IMO- there are no "best" trailers..just the one that is the best fit for you. The best fit on your budget, your needs and your wants. It might be a lower priced steel trailer,a combo or a all aluminum. It might have a LQ and it might not. So don't be swayed buy big time name,go find the rig that fits you. |

| 4 STAR.......4 STAR AND 4 STAR. AWESOME TRAILERS AND GREAT RESALE. They may cost a little more but the value is there and when you get ready to sell there are buyers. |

Location: western PA | Farmbabe's reply is accurate. There is no one BEST trailer for everyone. With over 150 trailer manufacturers, limiting your choices to only a few, is doing yourself a disservice. Look at brands of which you are unfamiliar, you may be pleasantly surprised by what is available. We found and bought a brand of which we previously knew nothing, (Sidekick) and enjoyed it for many years. It is very well built and served us well. A personal inspection and ticking off a list of your needs, will go far to ensure if a trailer is apropos for you. There are many good trailers that are available. Beware of the denigrations made by those people who claim some brands are "junk", that their best friend's uncle's, second nephew's wife once said............. |
