Location: Cherokee, Ia | Ok, I found 2 trailers for sale, both 2001,GN 3 H slant, all aluminum. One is CM Brand, other is a Keifer, same size, options, everything. Just wondering how they compare side by side in anyone else's opinion. Both in great shape, and comparable price. Thanks!

| At that age, you need to look carefully at the unit. By design, they are nearing the middle/end of where their original design life. Yes, many are going to do much more. But in 2001 we were still figuring on a 15-20 year lifespan. So look at wear, rather than just brand. The KB in that age used outside sourced horse doors that gave issues. I believe that was first production of the CM aluminum, and there were some "growing pains" initially.

Location: Cherokee, Ia | Thanks for the info. The CM I am looking at is a Norstar Model. In great shape Very solid and well taken care of. The Keifer is nice, but not really thrilled with their drop windows. No outside frame just the drops.
Anyway, both are priced pretty fair. I'm upgrading fron a 3 horse steel trailer. Just ready for an enclosed aluminum and rear tack. My Stock combo has served me very well for 15 years, just need bigger dsg. room
