If a trailer has a factory LQ would the weight on the VIN plate include the LQ or would it just be the shell?

The two LQ trailers we own reflect a pretty accurate weight on the VIN plates. They both include the LQ installations. Not particularly familiar with other brands.

The VIN plate almost never has the trailer's weight listed (we've dealt with most of the major manufacturers over the years and none of them list curb weight). It will have the GVWR which is the legally allowed maximum weight of trailer and contents and this will be listed in kilograms and pounds. The original Manufacturer's Statement of Origin (MSO) will have a weight listed. If the mfg was responsible for the LQ install, it will generally include that. If the dealer or customer handled the LQ contracting then it will be just the shell. And generally once that document is surrendered for a proper title, that info is lost also.
