Location: ellington,ct | Hi, I am looking for my first trailer. Have seen a 1991 Campbell Coach in very good condition and love the adjustability and option of using ramp or not. Also like a 1994 Merhow. Any opinions. I know they are older and Campbell is not longer in business. I just want a trailer 2H BP for light occassional use and main focus is safety and comfort of my horse (Levi). thanks. |

Location: North Carolina | Welcome to the forum. Trailers are simple vehicles. I don't consider brand as much as condition. When purchasing a used trailer inspect tires, lights, brakes, and especially the floor. Pull the mats. look at the edges, and under side of the trailer. |

Location: ellington,ct | Thanks for the response. My husband has been hauling car trailers for years and is very thorough about checking the structure and mechinicals while I am more concerned with the horse compartment ie: space, light and ease of use. Since the campbell is no longer in production would it be possible to find window replacements? This is the only feature I am not liking so far. |

And in the New England area...definitely exam the frame closely... |

I've done business with this outfit...ask them for some quotes about replacing windows... http://www.ajztrailers.com/ |
