Location: MS | I have been with USRider for a while. Never had to use it...knock on wood.Today, my cousin and a group of women friends were traveling a distance to go for an extended camp/ride trip. One of the trailers got a flat tire and since they had USRider, they called. She was on hold for 15 minutes!! That is unacceptable if you are alone, in a strange place and using your cell phone minutes! They never did get helped. I told her she better complain when she can. |

Location: novinger, mo | I've had to use USRIDER several times and they have been very helpful. Remember, you might be in a very rural area and they need to find someone to come to you. It can take time. They have told me they will call me back in x amount of minutes and they have. I highly recommend them. |

Location: Tucson, AZ | I have needed to use US Rider on two seperate occasions. They have been prompt, helpful and gone above and beyond. They are ALWAYS concerned re: the safety of the people and horses. US Rider has even gone as far as to track my cell signal to figure out where I was when I had a blowout in the middle of ?????? It sounds as though you may have had one bad experience. It is sad about your less than positive experience, but I doubt you will find anything better than US Rider for you and your horses safety/piece of mind. |

Hokey Smoke...if they won't answer the phone to sell you something...one would have to wonder if they'd answer the phone to provide a tow contact... |

Location: Mena, AR | I've used USRider three times over the last 5 years. Once when I had a tire on my dually go flat. They found someone to come to A to Z in OK, on a Sunday, to change the flat, and fix a value stem problem on the other tire. The tire guy got to help two other campers while he was there, so it made his trip worth while. Another time when it was freezing out side and I had a flat in my driveway. They sent someone out to change the flat for me. Poor guy. The day after, it was a really nice day. :-) The third time when a friends dog lock her out of her truck at a gas station on the way to camping. Every time they kept me updated on the status, and check back with me to make sure everything got done. I'm sorry to hear about the bad experience. Hopefully it was a one time event. I just renewed my membership also. |

Location: Minnesota | I needed to call US Rider on one of the first trips we made after becoming a member. Sunday night on busy interstate, miles from the nearest town, two tires blown out on our trailer. US Rider managed to find an owner of a truck repair shop who was at home watching a football game, and they convinced him to drive 25 miles to our location with spare tires. We followed him to his shop, and although he didn't have the right size tires in stock, he did manage to find some used ones that he mounted and installed for us. He told us what the bill would be for traveling and repair ... a couple times the cost of the policy. But more importantly, I would have been stranded for a long, long time without their help. I haven't gone without US Rider coverage since. |

Location: Tenn/Ala. | For what it is worth- some years ago we sold them a steel bumper pull 2 horse trailer. They intended to donate it to a training facility in Ky. that trains first responders. In particular, I was told that they would lay it on its side and use it to demonstrate equine rescue procedures in a crash situation. I've never had the opportunity to use their services, but in speaking with Mark Cole, one of their principals, during this process I was impressed with their interest in giving back to their customers in a form that few could do. They really are a class act.

Location: Stanley, NM | Equipass isn't available anymore. They were great. The mother company still has RV assistance, but no horse trailer service (they will do just like AAA - tow the vehicle, but not help with horses). They were affiliated with AQHA, who now is affiliated with US Rider. I switched to US Rider, but was not impressed with them when I used them on just the truck (no trailer or horses). In fact, I now have AAA too because of that incident. |

Location: MO | I've had USRider for a few years, and used them 3 times. Each time they have been prompt, courteous, and helpful. I've also been very lucky - all 3 times my tow vehicle broke down at home either right before hauling out, or right as I was backing the trailer in. I've been pleased with their service, and with that of the tow companies they've used. |

Location: Montgomery, AL | I bought US Rider membership just few month ago. While pulling from Alabama to Tennessee, we had a blowout. Called US Rider and a nice lady asked for me to wait while she located someone to help. In the mean time, I got on my Iphone and googled and found someone to help. I called US Rider and cancelled my request for assistance. Few day later I got a survey to complete from them, stated that I did not use their service as I got assistance on my own. Few days later I got a call from US Rider requesting a copy of my invoice. I sent it in and a week later a had a check from US Rider reimbursing my expense. Great follow up there and glad to see the check. I hope that I never have to call them, but after that experience I will surely renew!!!! |

Location: MS | I had left a post on USRider's FB site, and they got back to me about the problem. I have contacted the lady that got the nonresponse to ask her permission to give them the whole story. Personally, I will keep renewing USRider. I just don't want to take the chance! |

Location: Vermont | Have you ever wondered how your horses were traveling in the trailer as you drive down the road? There is no need to wonder any longer. Rostech Electronics has developed an inexpensive color monitoring system to give you a complete view of the trailer interior. With the camera in the trailer and the monitor in the cab of your tow vehicle, you can easily see your horses. The system is portable, wireless and transmits up to 1,000 feet. USRider Members receive a $50 discount on the purchase of a system. For more information, call Rostech Electronics at (800) 361-8080 or visit www.rostech.com.

Location: Minnesota | I've had US Rider for about 4 years. I've used them 4 times, most lately for a lockout (the car, not the truck/trailer) and I've had good luck with them. I've never been on hold more than a few minutes, and they are always courteous and they follow-up afterwards to be sure that I'm OK. Once, we had a flat on the truck, so we put the spare on and called US Rider for advice on where to go for a repair. They sent us to a tire place that was only for semi's. We weren't too happy about that, since it was a 1/2 ton pickup truck. We found Discount Tire ourselves, and got it fixed. |

Location: Florida | US rider carried us home earlier this summer after my Ford blew it's EGR cooler out the tail pipe. We were 7 hours into our return trip 39 miles from home. We did sit for 3 hours but once they found the right tow company it was all well done. After they dropped us at home the tow driver pulled and parked my Dually at the dealer then brought me back home. Always remember that US rider will not re pick you up until you are repaired. Unlike AAA they will pick and drop you multiple times. |

Location: North Carolina | BlazingCreekBar ... Was that tow with the horses in the trailer ? Takes a heavy tow truck to pull the total rig. Not the usual car hauler that an auto club may contract with. |

Location: Florida | UH HUH Full 28 foot on the floor 8w LQ loaded with camping gear, food etc and us. The tow truck was driven by a class A driver, we were followed by the smaller F350. By the way the smaller truck was sent out first.. oops A young trooper was on the side of the road with us and he only asked once if the tow driver was safe. I guess those Class A drivers know their stuff, he never asked again. I was a tad set back I really had no idea they had to drop the drive shaft. I rode in the tow vehicle and my wife and the dog followed in the chase truck. The trooper rode with us till we got off the highway. The bottom line was US rider had no providers in this area. It was a tad tense for a few hours. Troopers, Fire trucks AAA drivers etc pulled up. Rush hour was picking up and I figured good samaritans where calling us in. The horses where in the trailer for 10 hours. I won't go into the fact that I had to restart and pull forward to level the trailer off. Darn the temps went high... |

Location: Vermont | They drop the drive shaft to protect your transmission...towing a truck with the driveshaft in place can trash a transmission in under 50 miles...because since the transmission would have to be in neutral, there is NO LUBRICATION taking place inside during the tow. |

Location: Rocky Mount N.C. | USRider towed my truck and trailer this summer... They loaded the dually onto a flatbed and pulled the trailer with the horses with another dually truck. Wrecker guy says he never pulls a truck with the trailer still hooked up. Hauled the truck to the GMC dealer in Statesville, N.C. and pulled the trailer to his shop and parked it in the shade, pulled cord out to trailer so wife could run our 48" fan on horses. 97 degrees that day. http://jandjautonc.com/ |
