Hi all,

Seeing so many 1990's and older gooseneck trailers being advertised got me to wondering if there is a a cut-off age when a dealer will no longer accept a trailer for trade in?

Is there always some use for older gooseneck trailers? I've read that old bumper pulls can often find homes with lawn and/or maintenance people, etc.

What happens if a dealer won't accept an older trailer and no one wants to buy it because it's "too" old? Is there a trailer graveyard out there somewhere you can send your trailer to or are you just stuck with it?

If it is still functional, just sell it outright. You will get better money for it than trading it in anyhow.

I have a 1992 3H Featherlite Bumper Pull that looks and pulls great. A long as the trailer is in good shape I would just sell it out right. A dealer wont give you much for an older trailer.
