I just purchased an 08 Keifer that has been stored outside since it was purchased.  I noticed today that the roof vent had blown off today with the wind.  It was basically dry rotted.  It is the type that raises and lowers and it positioned in the rest room.  How difficult is this repair?  Does the entire unit need to be replaced or just the plastic?

Very easy.  If the arms are still working you can just buy a new lid/cover.  If the arms are broke you can buy the whole unit and drop it in.  Most RV stores/websites will have different sizes available.  Feel free to call us if you have questions.  Thad
