Location: Harrah OK | I have a 2006 Ford F-250 Short box 4x4 XLT dsl. i just had a GN hitch installed. I know my truck was rated at 12,500 lbs with the proper hook ups on the tag along but I cannot find anywhere that tells me what my truck can haul when it comes to the GN hitch. Anyone know by chance? |

Location: North Carolina | Your tow rating is limited by two numbers. The Gross Combined Vehicle Weight Rating or GCVWR this is the total weight of both the loaded trailer and loaded truck. The second number is the axle ratings that are on the door frame. Don't exceed any of them and you'll be okay. The best method is to actually take the loaded trailer to a scale. Anything else is just a guess.
