| I stumbled across a trailer that s having some leaking issues that the owners weren't even trying to fix as there was apparently some long story behind why they didn't want to do anything to it...guy that was using it didn't own...anyway, trailer has a 6ft sw and someone has already ripped out most of the insulation/paneling and so forth. It has several cabinets that I'm gonna just leave in there and maybe refinish or paint. I got the leaks fixed and now ready to start working on the LQ. I was thinking about putting some of the little spot recessed looking lights throughout the ceiling...where can I get these? Lowes? Or a RV supply store...? |

| Yeah..I tried eBay and out of about a gazillion results, found maybe two or three options....think I looked through about ten pages... |

Location: MD | Assuming you're talking about 12V, marine outlets have nice LED's but they aren't cheap ($30). The really do last forever draw minimal amps and provide good lighting so you don't need as many. I use them on my boat. |

Location: Texas | We just added one of the simple/basic fixtures with the two lights, slider switch that will light one or two of the lights.
Our trailer had no light over the sink/stove, so we added one there. That was much needed. The rest of the rig, just think about where you needed to see. Over bed to read? Shower? Over sitting area? |

Location: Wis. | We ordered the small halogen puck lights for ours from Jazz Sales in MO. We put six over our gooseneck/bed area. They are nice lights, no dark areas. |

Location: Wis. | I really haven't noticed any heat with them. I also have them installed on the underneath side of my cabinets over my countertop and sink. I am more than happy with them.

Location: Tennessee | Ok can someone tell me how to take the little buggers apart to change the bulbs? We have these little flush lights on the ceiling and in one cupboard and I will be darned if I can get them apart. I think the center pulls out from the casing but am afraid to pry and break something if thats not right. If it matters its a Showtime conversion LQ ThanksJudy |

My daughter said, oh I know how to do that, you just push up on the bulb and they pop out. Thank goodness for kids. |

They didn't exactly pop out in my hand but the edge came loose that way enough to use my fingers to pry them loose once I had the idea of how they came apart. Yeah now I can fix the three lights that were out. Thanks again.Judy |

We bought our trailer new in 2006 and only had one of them burn out so hopefully once you fix these you won't have to worry about it for a while. I honestly think the way my daughter figured it out is she was laying on the bed in the gooseneck and dinking around with her feet on the ceiling. (o: |
