Location: Mena, AR | I have a 4-Star, and my saddles keep slipping off the saddle rack in the rear tack. My western saddle stays a little better than the endurance saddle, but both slip. I'm looking for suggestions to improve the staying power of the saddles. Because of the way the rack is made, it would be real hard to remove the current saddle rack and replace it, so I'm looking for idea on how I might modify it. Thanks! |

Location: Pueblo, CO | You could add some padding to the rack, but I think most people just run a short bungie cord over the horn (or pommel) and hook it to the front lip of the rack. |

I put a bungee from d ring to d ring underneath and up through the angle bracket. Also make sure your horses are in the front stalls and it won't bounce as much and cause the saddles to fall off |

| I don't know whether it would work, but you might try putting a piece of that waffle, foam, sort of tacky-sticky stuff between the saddle & the rack. That stuff people use in their drawers to keep things from sliding around, they sell it in DollarTree stores around here. |
