Location: Hopkinsville, Ky | I have a 2004 WW stock trailer I bought it new. It's in great shape, I did have to replace the jack the other day. While replacing it I checked out underneath the trailer. It has three pieces of angle running length ways under supporting the floor. They are fine. Two pieces of angle iron running down each side that the floor rest on on the edges agains the wall. One of them is fine. One of them is totally rusted out, and looks like it is coming apart in laminated strips. The floor on that side is setting on imagination. Thank God I noticed it. 99 times out of 100 I hail cattle in it. If a rodeo is close enough for a day trip, I use it. Not that I don't mind if a cow feel through it, but how much more terrible it would be if one of kids horses fell through. I don't expect WW to fix it. Should I send them a picture so they know what's going on. It's gotta be some kind of faulty steel. Not a speck of rust any where else. Nothing injured as of yet. It's going to be hard to fix, but not impossible. I plan to weld a piece of channel iron in right beside of it. What would you guys do. BTW the jack was my neighbors fault not theirs. |
