   This is quite a story. For the life of me, I can't figure out why this well would've been left uncovered to begin with. Read on to find that the firefighters had to be called back to rescue the horse a second time within hours.

Location: Lincoln, NE		Glad Katie Sue was okay. Also glad the fire departments were willing to do what needed to be done to rescue her. I couldn't get any help when my kitten got stuck under a sidewalk. At the suggestion of a woman from the local humane society I use tuna to temp her to wriggle out. She no doubt lost weight because she'd been trapped there for three days without food or water in January!

Kudos to all involved. Maybe, for her own safety, Katie Sue should be stalled or put in a corral.
