Location: Webster, KY | Looking at an 18ft shortwall with slide 4 horse triable to tow with 2011you dodge dually.....too heavy I think it std wheels but wondering how much diff there will be cuz of drizzle. Dealer said sundowner planned for this setup to be ok for a 3500? Any thoughts? Presently towing a 16ft no slide 3horse sundowner pretty well |

Location: Ottawa, Illinois 61350 | The triaxle setup does help on weight distribution; but I have to agree that a 3500 isn't enough truck for an 18' slide unit 4H. We sold one of these a couple of years ago, and it went behind a 7.3 F-550. That's probably the minimum truck I would want on this sized trailer. Ideally, the midsized haulers, like the F/L's, baby Pete's or Internationals are the trucks to have on that sized trailer. |
