Location: south texas or iowa | Has anyone ever converted a dinette into a couch that folds down into a bed? I found a trailer I like but it's got the dinette that I don't want. If possible what would an approx cost be? |

Location: Texas | I've been looking on line. You can see samples of couches at the Camping World site. (I always feel better deals may be found) But I'd think it would not be that difficult to change

Location: North of Detroit, MI | Many variables here. Depends on what you currently have, the size, and how permanent the construction. Does the existing dinette convert to a bed or not? Do you want to remove it and then put in a couch->bed? How permanently installed is the existing dinette? Can you carefully remove it and sell it on Craigs List to help pay for the couch? |

| My hot water tank and fresh water tank is under the dinette. Need to see what is under yours. |

Location: Ottawa, Illinois 61350 | The biggest problem is there can be a watertank and pump, plumbing, etc, under the seat(s) of most dinette/sofa's. That all has to be changed before a switch can be made from dinette to sofa. This can be fairly a expensive process, as there can be a lot of manhours involved in the process. I would definitely have someone make the switch that is used to working with RV waterlines, to make sure there is no leaks when you get done making the switch. Good luck to you. |

Location: Jersey, GA | My first LQ trailer had a dinette which converted to a bed. I loved that feature. When I moved up to a larger trailer I couldn't find one with a dinette so settled for the sofa. I love my trailer but still would have preferred a dinette. |
