Location: Missouri | Looks fishy to me, poor grammar in the prize statement. Reads like many of the spam emails I get. |

Location: Never miss a good chance to shut up. | Thanks for your wariness, but I recieved the link and the survey directly from the horse trailer company itself, and from the same person I've been doing business with for years on Horse Trailer World. I wouldn't scam my own bulleting board. They have done survey's in the past and are a very well known trailer company. DaveM HTW |

If you want to be taken serious you do. I would think any one in marketing would know better. But hey, that's just my opinion. |

Location: western PA | Manufacturers, businesses, political parties, organisations and the like, all use lists of people to their best benefit. They can glean these names by credit card useage, petitions, surveys, polls, shopping experiences and product usage. When you "register" your newly purchased product, your name and info goes into a data base. These lists are then sold, in 1000 name increments, to whomever wants to access those people, that are most likely to be interested in what ever they're selling or promoting. This is a lucrative business, currently being served by many entities. Two coats and a couple of hats is an inexpensive way to build such a list. http://lists.nextmark.com/ |
