I am considering having an air conditioner installed on my horse trailer but this is costly and I would probably only be able to use it when I take my trailer on a 1 week vacation once a year. Has anyone tried the Kooleraire system? This is a fan set on top of a cooler which is filled with ice. The investment is only $40.00, unless I have to purchase a specific cooler, so not a big deal just wondered if it would actually work.
A 48 quart chest full of ice will be heavy and I suppose I would need to drain it periodically.

I would wonder how long it last on a fully charged battery? Or would you have electricity
