Has anyone tackled this before themselves? Or did you have someone do it?

We have never done this and are debating whether to do it ourselves or leave it to a professional.

Location: western PA		Like any other DIY project, the ease of the job is dependent on your skills and available tools. If you have an exact replacement, the exchange isn't too difficult. If you have to modify the plumbing, or fit a different sized tank, things can be much more difficult.
