Location: everett, washington		im looking at buying a sooner GN with LQ trailer but i need to get a gooseneck adapter since i have a mega cab dodge. how do you know if you have a 4" tube or 4 and a 1/2 tube. ive been trying to research all morning and havent found anything.

I'll assume your measuring problem is the end of the tube is obstructed by the hitch so you can't place a rule across the diameter.

Solution ... Get a measuring tape.  Wrap it around the tube and measure the circumference.   Divide that number by 3.14 to get the diameter.

Math is useful...
