How can I check the undercarriage of my two horse trailer? It's been sitting for a couple of years and I'm worried that perhaps it's rusted really bad and needs replacing or at least some kind of maintenance before I use it again.

Thanks,
Rose

I take it your state does not have yearly inspections...Just take it to a shop that handles trailers and have them give it a once over...

To the best of my knowledge, no yearly inspections are required in our state. Do you mean take it a trailer sales place and let their maintenance department look at it? I'd be sorta worried that they would tell me it can't be repaired in the hopes I would buy a new trailer from them. Is there some other type company who would know enough about it to take it to?
