Location: London Ontario | Can anyone tell me what Sooner trailers are like? Good for cattle? Solid? Where do they fit in the overall trailer world? Are they top of the line or middle of the pack or a discount trailer? I have seen a 2002, sixteen foot, Sooner and am wondering about it. Thanks! |

Location: Missouri | Sooner had some of the best stock trailers on the market around 2002...the 16' you are looking at should be a good trailer and should have many years of use left in it. I still see a lot of the older Sooner trailers being pulled around and they seem to be holding up well. |

Location: The Natural State | We have a 1998 Sooner 3 horse GN that we bought in 2010... was concerned about its age at first but that thing is built like a tank. This is the first one we've owned and I would definitely consider purchasing another one. |

Location: London Ontario | Thank you for the replies. This trailer is at an auction. ANy idea what it might be worth? I thought about 8000 to 10000 would be reasonable. |

Location: Missouri | Probably $8,000 to $8500 at the most just because of the age. Good Luck! |

Location: London Ontario | Well, didnt get it. I had other duties at home that forced me to miss the auction, so I have no idea how the trailer sold. Oh well. I will keep looking for a good used aluminum gooseneck livestock trailer in the 16 to 18 foot range. I think 16 would suit me best. If I have questions, I know this forum is great! Thanks to all who replied. |
