Location: Lake Helen,Fl | Im looking into getting a LED tv and run it off my batt in the horse trailer. Any good ideas of a good LED tv to install in my Horse Trailer to run off my batt? Im also thinking about a Solar pannel to keep my batt charged. What do you think? |

Location: western PA | There are usually a myraid of battery opperated tvs available at most truck stops. They range in pricing and size, as well as being able to be used as monitors for the internet. In a recent monthly flier, Harbor Freight had a new series of solar panels (portable and attached) charging controllers and even a specialised battery for the systems. The pricing was quite nominal. |

| It really depends on what size you want, I think. I like little personal tv's and bought some Haier's when they were on sale at Target - my 10 inch color digital tv with remote and ac and dc cords was $30, but was marked down from $130, and the 7 inch version was $15. They are great in my opinion. They run four hours on their own battery, before needing to be plugged in at all. Target may still have some online. The reviews were good from my perspective, but are worth reading. The complaints were that the sound wasn't loud enough, and that the reception wasn't good enough on the antenna that comes with it. I actually have not found either to be a problem. Great picture, great remote (real buttons), very reliable and even tough as I dropped on of my on a concrete floor and it just bounced. Very sturdy, durable, lightweight and small. But, like I said, I like small tv's and if you want a bigger screen, this obviously is not what you want. Couple that with the website that tells you what reception is available in various areas and you are all set. If I ever want to, I can connect it to my spare dish and bring my receiver along as the tv can be connected to dish or cable or auxiliary dvd/blue ray player. |

| I meant to say that mine is an LCD display and not an LED. I had forgotten that you want LED. |
