Is black skin aluminum had to keep maintained? Does it make the inside of your trailer hotter in warm weather?

One cannot argue with the science/physics behind black absorbing sunlight and therefore heating up more than white which reflects light.  There was a similar question posted here a few weeks back.  We have a black Elite trailer with full LQ and do not regret purchasing it.  Neither my family or our horses have suffered from it.  Keep in mind how much of the trailer is not black.  That includes the entire roof, stainless steel nose, all the windows, and, for us, most of the sides as well.  Only the back doors on our trailer are all black.  As far as maintenance goes, a black trailer really requires no more maintenance than a white trailer of similar size.  The amount of surface to wash and wax would be identical.  Our trailer does not show any of the black streaks many white coloured trailer owners so often complain about.  Keep in mind that we live in an area that does not experience the extreme heat some states do or we may have chosen to purchase a different colour, but black works just fine for us today.
