| I am looking at some trailers that are a distance away for sale from private parties... I am having a hard to finding what I am wanting. And a hard time getting seller to send photos or answer questions. Is there a resource for finding people that can pick up and deliver a trailer?I am needing a 2H GN straight load walk thru style (no mangers) with a dressing room, alum. skin. Almost everything is slant or has mangers or sellers has never done any maintenance on it. |

Location: Shawnee, Oklahoma | I bought a classic car at auction in Philadelphia last fall and used U-Ship to get quotes to have it shipped to Shawnee, Oklahoma....The process is fast and the driver who delivered it was awesome! I paid $800 and thought it was a great deal...... |

| So I found a trailer 1000 miles away. I have looked at Uship but am confused about their fees. I did contact them to ask. To those of you that used UShip was there a 12% fee? |

Location: Northern Utah | On Uship the various companies bidding for your cargo will bid a price, UShip typically adds a fee for their services. I don't know what that fee us. You get to choose which bidder you want to use, Read their post and check out their references. I know that folks delivering RVs are getting paid $1.25 and up per mile and the management company that books them is taking a % on top of that. So a commercial rate of $1.50 and up is probably reasonible. |

Location: Henry County, Va | Where do you live and where is the trailer ? I deal in horse trailers and deliver them all over. The description of what you're looking for fits a Kingston brand of trailer,TB height, GN walk through, front dressing room, aluminum skin, Well made w/ a 50 yr reputation. I actually have 4 of that style of TB trailer at present, a Trail Et Thorosport, Cotner, Shoop and Kingston not a gooseneck but I know where a few are. |

Location: London Ontario | Can anyone tell me anything about Cherokee trailers? I do not know thebrand at all. Can they haul cattle? Are they a good make? Dependable and strong? or are they poorly made and a lot of problems. Thanks! |

Location: London Ontario | Thank you cajunmuleman. That is very helpful. I have owned an Exiss and a Barrett. Both were very good. I have sold my most recent, Barrett, and am looking to downsize to either a 16 or 18 foot aluminum gooseneck. I only haul a few cattle to shows and between properties once in a while. Probably get about 4 or 5 uses a year. So its good to know "the good, the bad, and the ugly" of various makes. Any other suggestions from others on this issue of what are the good trailers and which you have less confidence in would be appreciated. |
