| I have drivers side entry LQ, never camped but will probably stay at a local event center a few times this year. After reading a thread here and looking at the spaces at the campground I now understand my trailer is setup a bit backwards for the spaces. While I could back in the family that we travel with has a trailer set up the other way so it will be nice to share a common area. I would guess that currently I have a 10 to 15 foot cord wired into my converter. Would it be possible (and safe) to just buy an extention? I think another 10 foot would be good. Or will I need to change my cord? Anybody have an easy way to get the cord under the trailer other than having my daughter climb underneath? I was thinking that I could throw a cheap fish tape on the trailer. Mike |

Location: western PA | WalMart sells a 10AWG 20' extension cord for about ~$40. It's easy to just throw one end under the trailer to the other side. You will need an adapter for a 15/20 Amp service |

Location: Rayne, LA | I have the door on the drivers side along with my electricity, water and sewer. I have stayed at a few stites that use a common electric pole and water to serve two sites so I have had to cross my water hose and power cord over to the passenger side, simply pull cord out and walk under the neck before putting the trailer legs down. |

Well of course I could do it that way but it would be much to simple....I was looking for a more complicated solution that would require me to buy something ;) |

Location: Rayne, LA | Yes it would. Make sure it has a 30 amp RV plug not a 15 amp ( regular ) plug |

Location: western PA | We have one in each of our trailers, and with a 30 amp capacity, have had no problem running any of the electrical accessories. It comes with the same 30 amp plug as the factory shore cord, the reason you need an adapter for the smaller services. |

Location: Mena, AR | Walmart sells a 30amp RV extension cord. I have a 50' one that has come in pretty handy a couple of times. |

Location: Arkansas | We also carry a schedule 40 piece of sewer pvc pipe on the side of our hayrack, it has come in handy on the times we have had to pull the cord straight behind the trailer to hookup. That way in saddling at the rear tack etc, there was not an issue with our stock or anyone elses tromping the power cord or water hose as the case may be. |
