Location: Shepherd, TX | We want to upgrade to a larger trailer but can't find anyone to take our Bison trade? I'm in Texas. Are there others that are experiencing this problem. | Folks, we take Bisons on trade daily! Sell several of them daily! I never solicit business on here, but I cannot resist advising you of the incorrect nature of the info you have been fed. If you find a dealer that refuses to take it just because it's a Bison, you'll be better off to skip doing business with them. I'll also say the same for any US built brand. Location: Zionsville, Indiana | I can't imagine why a dealer would not take your Bison on trade, particularly because you want to trade UP. We get so many people who want to trade DOWN any more. That direction is sometimes difficult. Make some more calls. You will find a dealer that will welcome your trade. |

Location: Decatur, TX | I just sent you a private message on your situation. We are a proud dealer of Bison trailers in Northern Texas and of other manufactureres, we also take trade ins. Some dealerships just dont take trades at all, and some do. Each dealership will be different on what their trade policies are. Typically they are not against trading for one specific brand or another but just against trading in general. Again all dealerships are different so it just depends on the individual situation. Location: Shepherd, TX | the few offers we've had were alot less than what we owed on it. It hasn't kept it's value at all. Whereas our former trailers did and we had no problem trading them in. It could be because it's older and a steel frame with aluminum skids. Not sure but this certain trailer which at the time was almost new and a great deal is not worth what we paid for it. Our friends have other brands of trailers and have had no issues trading in. As for trying to sell on our own, I've had it up for sell for over a year with no interest at all. It's just frustrating because we want to upgrade and are not a credit risk. |

| Some times the "great deals" come back to bite you when you try to get rid of them. Remember- John Deere always costs more initially, but resale is what really matters. |

Location: Zionsville, Indiana | It doesn't help your situation, but it might make you feel better to know that at this time, in this crappy economy which has also affected the use of horses and thus trailers, most LQ trailers will not sell for what would have been a reasonable price four or five years ago. We have had so many units on consignment in which the owners were upside down and had to cough up additional money to pay it off and get the title. It is definately a buyer's market for LQ trailers. |

Location: Florence, SC | My husband and I bought a brand new Bison Trail Express #h with 10' LQ in 2007 and sold it after 4-6 of advertising last spring. It seems timing is everything with selling LQ trailers. We didn't get very good offers for trade-ins but sold it for apprx 22k to a private buyer. Good luck with your sale. We thoroughly enjoyed ours and will be getting another one next year.
