When I wash my featherlite trailer and my Cato trailer, both have white skin on top half and aluminum on the bottom half, the white paint seems to come off in the water. Could someone tell me why this is and what I can do to prevent that?

Thank you!!!

If you can rub a chalky paint off on a moistened finger tip, the paint has suffered UV damage. If it is thinned and damaged enough to expose the metal skin, your only recourse is to repaint it. If it still has enough colouration, you can spray a clear coat over the paint.
