Location: Stanley, NM | I am looking at a 2004 Sundowner Sunlite Trailblazer III. It has been hauled alot (high school rodeo) but, at least cosmetically, seems to be in decent shape and they routinely had it serviced. Are there any known issues with these trailers that I should be looking for? I have never bought used before and it makes me a little nervous. Thanks, Lori |

| I have a 2000 TBIII and love it!! If the trailer has been subjected to freezing temps, make the owner fill water tank and hot water heater, check for leaks under sink. While your at it make sure A/C and Fridge work, they are EXPENSIVE to replace I have not had any structural or mechanical issues. |

Location: Ottawa, Illinois 61350 | If your looking at a Sunlite 720 or 725 model; your looking at an all aluminum trailer, and a pretty good trailer. If your looking at a Sunlite 727 model w/ a Trailblazr III package, this would be a steel framed model. If it is a 727, make sure you do a close inspection of the frame members under the trailer. This model usually sells for a little less than the 720/725 models. In parts of the country, where salt or chloride is used in the winter, the 727 models have not fared as well as the aluminum sister models, if used in the winter months. |

Location: Stanley, NM | Thanks for the feedback. If I make an offer on the trailer, I was thinking to make the sale contingent on passing a structural exam at a nearby (relatively) Sundowner dealer. |

Location: VA | Depending on what year the trailer is you are looking at it could be all aluminum. I have a 2010 Sundowner 727A, "A" indicating that it is all aluminum. It's a very well designed and built trailer. |
