Location: Clearwater, MN | Hello all. I have a Hoosier trailer and I am just wondering if anybody else has had problems with the latches for the horse dividers? It has been gone for warranty work for a while now, so I haven't seen any of the fixes, but I can't believe I am the only one who had problems with the plastic latches. They say they haven't seen it on any other trailers. Just curious, this has been an interesting first year with this trailer. I had done my research on here, but other than a background story on the owner, it seemed like the trailer was okay for the price point. |

Is it a BP or GN? Does it have LQ? What are your overall thoughts on the trailer? I saw a LQ recently at a horse expo and thought it was very nice. However, I cannot find much info on this forum about the trailers - just your post and a few others but no real commentary on the quality of it. Any thoughts and/or info you would be willing to share would be so appreciated. (Or, if I'm being dense and there's a ton of info on here, feel free to share a link! LOL) Thanks,barrelrunner66 |

Location: Clearwater, MN | We have a 2010 4 horse with LQ, it has a 13' SW with a bar style counter. The trailer seems to pull well and it has a lot of pretty finishes. There was some attention to detail that should have been a lot better from the delivery dept. (torn floor, trim issues) We found them when we got the trailer home, missed it on the initial walk through. They are covering all of that under warranty, but they have had our trailer for over three months. The latches in the horse part are junk. The very first trip, we noticed one was a bit sloppy when I went to let the horse out. The most this horse did was lean on it. My husband discovered they were just cheap plastic and the other two that had held horses were already getting stretched. We tore them out right away and had metal ones installed. We are having to eat the cost, but there is no way I was losing my trailer back to the factory when we just had it a week and in the height of riding season. Now that it's taking three months just to fix the floor I'm glad we didn't send it back. Any other details, feel free to PM me! |
