I am wanting a new bit for my 7 yr TWH. I was considering Brenda Imus gaited bit. I was wanting others input on it. If you use it or have used it please let me know your thoughts on it. |

| One of my ridding buddies has one it works fine for her horse. She wanted to get a Myler like mine - At a horse fair we compaired the Myler MB03 comfort snaffel to the Imus bit and they are very simular, there is a big cost savings, I don't think you would be dissapointed with Imus bit. |

I actually have two of them and they work great for me. My wife uses one on her 10yo TWH and the horse works really good with it. I use one on my 16yo SSH and I could tell a diffrence the first day I used it. My mare has a softer mouth with this bit and I love the way you can work each side of the bit individualy. (SP?) Now this is the part I really like my gaited mule works really good with this bit also. I highly recommend it to anyone that is riding gaited stock. It is a high quality built bit and should last a lifetime. |

Location: Missouri | There have been problems with the Imus bit pinching and coming apart. And there have been major problems getting Imus to stand behind their products.
The Mylar or Toklat(Mylar look alike) are much better quality bits and hold up a lot better.

Location: novinger, mo | The Robarts gaited horse bit is a nicer design and better quality than the Imus bit. Stay away from Imus stuff. Mine started to separate and pinched my horse. |

Location: KY | Yeah, I have been hearing a few bad things on the Imus bit. I just ordered a Robarts gaited horse bit. I hope it works well for my horse.

Location: Northern Utah | I have one and it came apart as mentioned above. The manufacture apparently changed the production process and the results were a bit that didn't hold up. The company replaced my bit when I told them about it. The replacement bit is several years old and has been used a lot and has held up just fine. They claim to have changed manufactures over that problem and the old manufacture is still selling a look a like bit that doesn't have the Immus logo etched into the side of the bit. If you buy a current production bit from Immus, It should be the better quality product. At least that is the story they have been telling. |

We tried the Robart bit on a very sensitive-mouthed gelding that we had and I couldn't believe the difference it made.Matter of fact,we made videos that day that helped to sell him just 2 days later. He was so relaxed and had his head set in that bit,he loved it. |

I would love to see the video of your horse with the bit. I am excited to say it worked great on my horse. I used it on him today, I couldn't believe how much better he did with it. He has a nice high head that I like but he nosed out and that I didn't like but today he didn't nose out with the bit by the end of the ride. He seemed to feel more relaxed in the bit. I am a Robarts Pinchless Walking Horse bit believer. I would highly recommend it. I am going to try in on a couple of my other horses to see how they do with it. The big test though is tomorrow when I try riding him on a trail with other riders. Wish me luck! |
