Location: western PA | They're all good trailers, and each brand should provide safe and comfortable travels. The Logan is a bimetalic build and has a galvanised steel frame with aluminum skin. Both the Lakota and Exiss feature aluminum frame works and skins. The Logan has an 8 year structural warranty which is matched by the Exiss. The Lakota, depending on the model, will have a 5 or 7 year structural warranty. You will find that each brand is well liked by their owners within this forum. To pick the best of the lot, would depend on the pricing availability and the resources of your available dealer. They have all proven to be reliable and functional, and able to be equipped with the many options to make your life and travels enjoyable. Any of them could be your top pick. |

Location: Gallatin, TN | I agree with Gard. I have a Lakota and love it but you couldn't give me an Exiss due to prior bad experiences. I would determine everything I want in a trailer and then compare the same style in all 3 brands. Compare construction and price and decide which trailer has the features you want and fit your budget. |

Location: Lethbridge Alberta | Great info again. Anyone know of other trailers that are built like the Logan,,,,with the steel frame and Aluminum outer skin? I have a locally built Mustang trailer like that. I have used it hard for 3 years pulling full loads of big cows, horses and bulls, it has held up really well. Easy to pull and I like the idea of the stronger steel frame. |

Location: Rocky Mount N.C. | Gore, Hawk, Blue Ridge, Double D as well as some others build a steel frame, aluminum skin along with a fiber glass/composite roof trailer. There's alot of Sundowner trailers that were steel framed and aluminum skinned that were built prior to January 1, 2008. |

Location: Pataskala, Ohio | I have a Lakota and love it. Look up posts by me, Jeepplr, you will see that Lakota stands behind their trailers even when the problem was not their fault at all. I have the last trailer that had a third party install the LG but it is identical to a Lakota LQ. I have had zero problems with the trailer. It pulls great, I have a huge fresh water tank and now full size holding tanks. The only issue with my trailer is it is built backwards. My entry door is on the drives/road side and the dump is on the pax/curd side so we have issues in campgrounds. I just have to explain to the host how the trailer is built and they help me find a spot that works. Our next trailer will be another Lakota with bunk beds for my daughter. |

Location: Little town in Pa | We had had our Lakota for over 2 years and I still love it. The LQ has held up great with out an ounce of mildew smell or any other problem. It is a 3 horse slant, 8ft wide, 6ft LQ and it pulls extremely straight, however it is heavy on the tongue weight and we pull it with a one ton single axle truck, not a dually. When you shop, check on the thickness of the aluminum skin, we bought a mid range Lakota, not the Charger line which has a thinner aluminum skin. Gary Stites from Ohio sold us the trailer and was and still is extremely helpful and honest. |
