       Location: western PA | Do you mean gelcells? They sometimes are referred to as being dry cells. They have an excellent reputation in the marine, and automotive segments. They are out of my price range for campers and LQs. The more common, wet cell, deep cycle, marine type batteries have served me well for many years. |
     Location: Central Arkansas | I have one up on top in my haypod that is dedicated to my generator. We lost a top off the Diehard that used to be up there. It threw battery acid all over the stuff around it. So hubby said he would rather pay the price on the new type of battery then to deal with a clean up of that magnitude again! When it is time to replace the ones on the LQ, we will probably go with the new type since there is virtually no maintenance. |
