Is the weight of the trailer actually on the Mfg. plate on the front of the trailer and if so which one is it?  GVW or GVWR . . . always confusing to me.

Most of the time no.  The ratings you list above are max weight ratings.  Most likely you will need to call your dealer or the mfg to get the actual empty weight.  If it's your trailer you can haul it across a set of scales as well.

The only weigh to know for sure is WEIGH IT !!  Most fertilizer plants or elevators will gladly let you weigh your trailer at no cost.  Some of the larger truck stops have CAT scales, but be prepared to pay a fee for the privelege.  You will hardly ever find the ACTUAL
