Gard; I appreciate your article. I do think U.S. operations should probably re-open. I also, as always, send my firm message for these backyard breeding idiots to cease and desist... leave it to those who know what they are doing! The quality of life for these horses (and us people) has declined over the years because the ones who should be breeding had sense enough to cut back on their operations. In fact, we turned down the owner of the bred mother of one of our prized mares because we did not need to increase our numbers... I hope she did not go to Mexico, but I can't feed the world.

Sad issues like this, and the fact that we are milking our country to police the world make me feel like euthanizing all but two of our horses, selling our truck and trailer, and going off the grid.... When is this hell going to end???
