Location: Lakeview, MI | I know this has been talked about on here, but I am not finding anything in my searches.
Where are some websites to buy stuff to put in your LQ to do it yourself... heater, fridge, toilet/shower combo, etc. Thanks! |

Location: illinois | We are almost finished with our DYI project. We purchased several items from Jazz Sales(very happy with service and quality of items). We also purchased our jack knife sofa from Rv and van surplus, they are also very good to do business with. Other things we bought at Home Depot and Menards. Can't wait until we are completely finished. |

Location: western PA | If you google the name of the part you need, plumbing, electrical, cabinets, air conditioners etc, you will usually have several choices of which to choose. We built a LQ a couple of years ago, and except for a vent, almost everything was purchased over the internet from various suppliers. Few individual suppliers will offer everything that is involved in a LQ installation. You will need numerous sources. Shop for features, prices, availability etc. We had little luck with local RV dealers. When you are pricing, make sure to include shipping charges. Many companies will combine shipping costs on multiple items, and some will lower or even wave the costs, depending on the size of the order. Always ask. |

Location: SE Georgia | On the cabinets, my husband just decided to frame them in himself. I am going to use 2x2's and then use 3/8 plywood, foro the doors, which I will cover in the "fake embossed" leather. My question - can you use shower stalls, faucets etc. that you buy from Lowe's/Home Depot or do you have to get the ones from RV places? |

| There was a thread on RTA cabinets that sounds like a good idea. I've decided to frame my cabinets and purchase doors, which can be found on ebay or locally. |
