Location: TX | I am considering purchasing a 2011 F250 with the gas engine. Diesel just isn't in my budget right now, even though I know I would get better mileage. Anybody own one? I was wondering how your gas mileage is with the 6.2L V8? Any input would be appreciated! |

Location: nc | We own a 2011 F350 diesel and we only get 12mpg avg empty 9 mpg avg hauling. 16 mpg maybe on a very good day(mostly down hill). I can not imagine how a gas one's milage would be. It does not get near what the sales man told us. And don't get me started on the DEF additive lasting untill each 5,000 oil change. The only good thing it does haul great you don't even know a trialer is back there. |

Location: MN | You know I just did the whole truck shopping thing. Sold my 3/4 Ton Gas on craigslist. I looked at the new Dodge diesels cause of the rebates and no exhaust fluid. For the price I finally ended up with a used 1 ton Chev with 18,000 miles, no emmisions with it being a 2007 classic. I see the new trucks come in at work and the whole thing of added fluid to the exhaust just makes me scratch my head. I know the newer gas trucks depending on gearing can get similar mileage has the diesels. The only thing with diesels is the mileage seems to go up as they get broke in. |

Location: Stockton, CA | I purchased a GMC 2500 HD Denali diesel a few months ago. We have pulled our 4 horse Sundowner without ever knowing its hooked to the truck. We even had it loaded with a bunch of our trainers stuff going down the Cuesta grade in California on our way to Snata Barbara. The exhaust brake is GREAT! The Denali interior package is over the top! What a great truck (will have to put step rail on it for my wife). |
