Location: Rocky Mount N.C. | Nextrail..... Looks as if they may pick up the "light weight" trailer market, now that Brenderup is/has gone away..!! Trailer listing below shows an empty weight of 1825#. GVWR is probably 4400#. They need to work on the ad, one sentence say it's equipped with INERTIA HYDRAULIC DRUM BRAKES REQUIRES NO BRAKE CONTROLLER. another sentence states that it's equipped with... 2200# Dexter Torsion axles w/electric brakes. Going to be one or the other, not both. My S.W.A.G. is probably has the inertia brakes. Will have to she this to the wife, then she could back up to it with the MB and go...!!! http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/home/trailerdetail.asp?ID=326584 http://www.nextrail-ht.com/2nd-Generation-Products.html |

Location: Vermont | It may be an error where the copy writer just copied over the datasheet from their other trailer line and just changed the axle weight...

Location: Ocala, FL | YES, YOU ARE EXACTLY CORRECT. IT IS IN ERROR. THEY DO NOT HAVE ELECTRIC BRAKES. WE USE DEXTER HYDRAULIC DRUM BRAKES WITH FREE BACKING, AND AN INERTIA COUPLING SYSTEM TO THEM. SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS MAY HAVE CREATED. |

Location: Ocala, FL | No, they aren't. They are not available on 10" Hydraulic free backing brakes. When they are I will certainly use them. I have inquired with their engineering department, so hopefully they will get to work on this. |
