Location: western PA | When you face an uncertain future, an imbalance is created that affects everything in your daily life. When you are forced into a sleep, not knowing its outcome or finality, many questions are left unanswered. First opening your eyes to a loud, cold and bright environment, is unsettling and fearful. Hearing recognizeable soothing voices, and then seeing two of the most beautiful smiles a man can enjoy, I knew I had made it. With the support of my blood family, my friends and now this internet family, I have been given a strength and direction I've never known. In a few short days, my ambition is changing. Trivial matters are being set aside, recovery and family are now my principle goals. This epiphany has created a warmth and ambition I've not previously enjoyed. Again I offer you accolades, for your support of a faceless person only known in cyberspace, and of whom most will never meet. You will never know how much your good will has meant, nor the value I place on your many best wishes. Everyday we see and read about the worst of humanity. Very infrequently can one person experience the best. You have made this possible for me. I am enjoying my awakening. May you all be as blessed as you have made me. Gard

| As a woman who has had three major surgeries in the past three years & another one coming the end of July, I can appreciate your attitude, Garth. It is an incredible feeling to be helpless yet surrounded by the love & support of family & friends. And we, who read your posts on Horse Trailer World consider you a friend. Your good attitude will keep you out of depression & speed your recovery. God Bless you & your family. |

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas | Gard,
i did not know that you'd been ill, or had undergone (i'm guessing) surgery. I totally agree that in many ways we have all become family, regardless that, as you say, most of us have never seen each other..I am very grateful for the knowledge I have received form you and others on this website. I am proud that I did accomplished something that I would never have attempted otherwise (floor liner).. I will pray for your speedy recovery and continued health |
