I found a 1998 Sundownwer Valuelite slant load that I plan on going to check out. I just want to clarify that the rust problem was with models 1999 and newer, correct? All the pictures look good on this trailer, but it's a long drive, so I don't want to waste $$ or time if there is an issue with this model year as well.

Seller has indicated that the trailer will need a new brake battery and new tires. Any idea ballpark of what those items would cost? I'm in the overpriced northeast if that helps with an estimate.

Emergency brake batteries are ~$20-$30. Tires are ~$150 -$250 depending on size and range for LTs
