Location: Perkiomenville, PA | Greetings folks! Just bought a 2001 Eby weekender stock and it has a very strange floor plan. LQ built by Stagecoach, and I have to guess the owner customized. Anyway, there's no reasonable way to install a bulkhead door into the horse area. I want to use the first stall for my porta potty and gear, and there's no escape door at the first stall. No way I want to walk to the rear of the trailer for access..and slug thru horses when on the road. Was hoping to swing right on around into an escape door for showering, gear, etc.
Anybody out there know the pros and cons of installing a new stock door, and can it be done, and what should it cost? The trailer has never been acid washed, and I was hoping a new door and acid wash would eliminate any major color difference (is that a good assumption?).
I would also like the new door to have a right hand swing so I don't have to walk around it when leaving the living quarters. Does that have any problems associated with it? Most doors seem to be left hand swings...

Location: Perkiomenville, PA | Gard, I was happy to see your post! I thought of that right after I logged in my request on this site. Sent them an email to start that process.
It was late - that's my only excuse ~;-)
Happy trails,
