Location: Milltown, WI | Hi, this is my first time on. I have been browsing used 4 horse trailers with small LQ (8' or so) and have seen several Silver Star Trailers that I like, at least in the pictures. I know nothing about their quality. Does any one have an opinion? What is a good solid trailer company. I am looking between the years 2002 and 2007. I have a 1994 24 foot Feather Lite stock trailer that has served me well, but I would like to have a trailer with a LQ now. |

Location: Rocky Mount N.C. | The last new Silver Star was built in 2006... I have a 2000 all aluminum model 2033MA, three horse slant, 7' straight wall DR, 3' short wall mid tack, A/C, ramp over doors, lined roof front to rear, etc. Bought it because it was alot cheaper than a Sundowner and the Silver Star was equipped with alot more "stuff". There were alot of things standard on the Silver Star that were options in a Sundowner. We don't use it very often now, A 2 horse BP Gore does the running around and pick up delivery and a 6 horse head to head 4 Star go's to the shows... It's sitting inside the barn all tucked away ready for it's next mission and no, it's not for sale. It's the best pulling/handling trailer I've ever had!! Wish they were still being built. |

Location: Newton, NJ | Have an '03 2H GN Slant Load with a 3.5' DR that I converted to an LQ for short camping trips. I love this trailer! Tows great with my GMC 1500. Love the "fold out" saddle rack/tack area in the rear. It was a very good value for the money and I'm disappointed that the company went bust - although I've never had a problem that needed to go back to the manufacturer. |

Location: Columbia, KY | I had a 1998 SilverStar and loved it, very well built trailer... much more solid than the newer ones. It's too bad the company went out of business. |
