| Hi, Has anyone out there had any experience with triple axle trailers? I have heard both good and bad, and i was hoping that all the people who frequent this site could add their input. Thanks in advance for your help. |

Location: Vermont | The major problem with triple axle trailers is the high possibility of taking a tire of its rim while making sharp jack-knifing operations... |

Location: White Lake, MI | I've had two different triple axle trailers; one boat trailer with torsion suspension and currently an RV with leaf spring suspension. I never had an issue with losing a bead on any of the tires, but I do get a lot of scrub during tight maneuvers. Both trailers pulled and rode very well. My biggest complaint is the damage I do to the grass when moving them around my yard. |

Location: Valentine, NE | Have had one that used springs and it pulled pretty hard--always bouncing it seeemed. Pulled a few borrowed torsion triple axle ones and they pulled fine.
The biggest problem I see is that there seems to be more flat tires on them than a tandem. Also, one more axle to maintain not to mention the added purchase costs.
One also must run them exactly level if at all possible or it defeats the purpose in equal loading of each tire. Really need to run all trailers level, but can not always happen. |

Thanks in advance for your help. I have owned 3 axle car trailers and stock trailer and all have had center tire/wheel/lug nut issues while loaded. If you are needing heavier axles just go with 2-8-klbs axles and 14ply tires. |

| Thank you for everyone's input. I was looking at a triple axle trailer and have pretty much decided not to go there. Thanks again. |
