Location: grosse pointe park michgian | I am looking a A Sundowner Sunlite 737 2 horse straight load. It says it has a "painted aluminum exterior". What does this mean? Is it a steel trailer with an aluminum coating? Thank you. |

Location: grosse pointe park michgian | Yes I get that its exterior is what is says it is - aluminum skin. What perhaps I didn't ask artfully is, what is the composition of the trailer beneath the aluminum skin? |

Do the floor slats run length wise or do they run cross ways? Since 01/01/2008 they have been all aluminum frame and skin.

Location: grosse pointe park michgian | thank you rocky mount. it is a 737 sunlite year is 2004. i'll take a look at the old thread as well. i don't know which way the slats run, as the floor has rubber on it and i didn't know to look. |

| I was looking at a similar trailer and found the loading doors hard to open. The hinges were very tight. Is this just a matter of WD40 on the hinges or are there hinge problems on these trailers. Appreciate any help |

Location: rapid city sd | that was a common problem with that hinge. If they wern't too bad I used spray white grease or some longer lasting lube than wd-40. It makes a mess, but if you do nothing they will sieze up. You can take off the bottem section of either hinge, lift the door off, clean and grease them |
