Location: Ohio | Most of Trailers I see on line are either something someone does not want that I would not purchase to ride my son and daugther's horses in due to possible issues, or they are sooooooo rusted out that I am afraid they may fall apart, or I they are so HIGH PRICED!!!! that I cannot afford the trailers. If it is one I can afford it is a stock trailer which is not what I am looking to purchase. I have found a few but they are in another state and I would have to pay the person on line and hope that they really had a trailer to sale me. I wish I could find a honest person or dealer that would work with me on payments. I just got a job in Feb 2011 after being laid off last year. Are there any honest, hardworking fair cowboys, men, women out there? I am in Ohio. Thank, Lena |

Thank, Lena Well...for starters if you buy a trailer from a private citizen...plan on bringing all the money at the time of the sale...YOU will have to get financing from your credit union or bank...if you go through a dealer they will assist you in obtaining financing... |

Location: TN | There are plenty of hardworking, honest people out here, but it is not our responsibility to finance your horse trailer purchase! That is what lending instituions are for! For most, horse trailers are luxury items, not essentials!
If you can only afford a stock trailer, that may be your only option! There is nothing wrong with a safe used stock trailer. |

Location: canada | I finally found my 3H SL BP and will be driving 4-5 hours to pick it up. So looking within a day`s drive might be a good idea. If you can bring someone else along you can split the driving and do it in 1 day to avoid the costs of an overnight stay. For financing, my bank suggested opening a line of credit, v.s. a loan for a specific trailer. That way I have flexibility for making payments and can use the money again in the future should I need it. If the stock trailer is all you can find perhaps that can be useful for a year or two, then you can always move up to something better later on. Sortof like buying a starter home. In the meantime you can still keep your eyes open for good used trailers while setting some more $$$ aside for your dream trailer. Good luck! |

Thank,Lena Well first off in my opinion when looking for a used trailer I would look SOUTH for non rusted units. If money is an issue and you are in need of a non rusted trailer a weekend end drive will actually save you money in the long run. I am fixing to list a 2007 WW 2 horse side by side with NO rust for around $3000 range but I am in Texas. Just sold a 2002 S&H 2 horse slant load with no rust for the same price. |

Location: Ohio | Dear Dear !! I am sure that you don't have a clear understanding of me writing my message!
1.I am not asking a individual to finance me on a horse trailer.
2.I have a clear understanding of how lending institutions are utilized.
3.I found a option that best fits mine and my horses needs after more research and it is not a trailer. I am not sure why you wrote me in such a angry tone. For the lady in Canada and all others that tried to assist me thank you very much. |

Location: TN | Nothing angry in the tone or the reply! Just stating the facts. Your original posting asked for honest hardworking people to help work with you with payments- not financing! There are plenty of people out there who are honest and hardworking. There is also nothing wrong with good used equipment that is safe and performs it's duty. Take it how you wish! |

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas | Don't give up but be patient!.. It took me 2 years of looking to pretty much find what I wanted.. i am in south Tx and bought my 2H BP in oregon.. I was lucky enough to get such a good deal that I was able to afford to have it professionally transported to the (transporter) company's base, where I then drove to pick it up. |

Location: Arkansas | One of our rancher neighbors has a fine 2007 white roomy 2 horse with saddle compartment..... a sturdy reasonably attractive trailer for sale for 1600......If I did not have my run around trailer already I would buy it in a heartbeat. It is in western ARkansas....never been in the salt or chemicals of winter. Maybe you would like it. It would be cash only. |
