4-Star with roof mount air conditioner.  LQ was done by Bearcat in Indiana.  Leaking around the ac unit when it is raining.  I was told there is some type of molding the AC unit sits on. Does anyone know how to fix?

It may be loose but don't over tighten.  My guess is that its overtightened and you will need a new seal.

Thanks for the info.  I have owned for ten years and the bolts have not been tighten in that period so that may be the problem.

I purchased a gasket kit from adventurerv.net for about $15 if that's what it needs.

One of the members in our club had a similar problem. His was an older trailer with a leaking problem. He too had never tightened the mounting bolts. We loostened the four bolts, partially lifted the A/C unit, and discovered dirt and small debris betwee the seal and roof. The area was cleaned, the bolts retorqued, and the problem was eliminated.

Thanks to all.  Now if the weather ever warms-up in Minnesota, we'll take a look at it.
