most camping areas that you would want to try to get into with a rig will be fairly flatish. I have parked my 4 horse on a slight incline (front to back) and have been just fine.putting out the slide. I only have the one jack on the front of the trailer- so when I am going to use the slide I put jack stands at the front corner frame to support the trailer if I am going to unhitch from the truck (although with the 1 jack foot it does feet stable. your silverlite should have a button just inside the door that will extend you slide out. there is a manual option with access just below the camper door. I purchased my 05 4H trailer "used" in October of 10, have used it about 3 times this winter- so far I am very pleased with this trailer. good luck with yours!
