Hi everyone, Bought a "new" to me 2006 8x20 foot gooseneck Cimarron Horsetrailer. Put new goodyear tires on it etc...however it came with dented/smashed aluminum fenders. One was worse than the other. So I took out some hammers, some wood, some pry bars and banged on the better fender and it came out nice! The next weekend i pulled the tire off the worse one (it was smashed and flattened) and got it to be the correct shape and actually it looks pretty decent! It does have small hammer marks on it, but it is no longer embarrasing, and it no longer distracts me when I look in my rear view mirror or when i walk around the trailer. I am very pleased. The dealer wanted about 240 a fender plus the shipping cost was about the same. So dont be afraid to do the same. Terry |
