Location: Corpus Christi, Texas | Heading out to the Big Bend area next weekend for their (new) yearly trail ride. I've never been over that way, and it will be the furthest I will have trailered for a trail ride. I'm looking forward to it. Not having an LQ, I opted to stay at the resort for this, my first trip. I wasn't comfortable tent camping in a strange place in what may be @ zero degree nights. I'm sure next time will be a little more independently.. If anyone can get loose for several days, come on out. |

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas | Here are a few pictures from my trip to Lajitas, TX. (If I can et them uploaded!) I had a good time and met some great people. The weather was good, but got into the upper 80's and lower 90's during the day.. mornings were 30's and 40's..Most of the trails were flat and easy, but a couple were a little rough and certainly exciting! I was very proud of my little mare as we'd never ridden over some of that type of terrain.. |
