Location: Connecticut | I need to get a brake controller installed in my truck. Are all brake controllers created equal, or are there better brands or types out there? The trailer place near me installs Podigy controllers. I was going to go with that if there's no difference. |

Location: Water Vally, Alberta, Cdn | I have a 4 Star thats 27' on the floor and I use the Prodigy controller. I love the controller, I would buy it again. I am not an expert but I think it is one of the best out there. |

Location: PA | I'm no expert but I've been looking at trailer brake controllers as well. Here is a link that describe the difference between two basic types of controllers... http://www.etrailer.com/faq-brakecontroller.aspx . From there you can choose from several brands and models. From what I gathered, the Prodigy controllers are pretty good. |

Location: Rocky Mount N.C. | That P3 is nice, got one on the 2001 3500. The 2010 GMC has the factory controller not sure who builds it for GM. I have set it once when I hooked up to the trailer for the first time, haven't had to touch in since that day, works great. |
