I have 2 trailer....4 doors, 2 windows, 6 keys.  I contacted Fastec and was able to get new cylinders, it cost about $25 bucks and will be well worth the cost.  The first door went well, I put in the change key and pulled out the old cylinder, replaced with the new and that was it.  The other doors have not been so easy.  I can't get the cylinders out.  Does anyone know of any tricks to do this?

Try using the original key that fit the individual door to pull the cylinder.

I am figuring that the process you describe, uses the change key to alighn the pins/tumblers of the lock cylinder. There is also some mechanism that holds the cylinder in the lock. Are you releasing that too ?

Got it done.....Exiss suggested driving a screw into the lock and then pulling it out with a hammer.  Worked great.
