I have an 2010 F150 that I am pulling my 2 horse Sundowner 777 gooseneck with. When my truck is turned off, the interior and load lights on the trailer still work. I have a 7 wire plug on the trailer. My question: I am wanting to add a dual battery box with 2 batteries, and wire the trailer to those batteries. I plan to add an invertor to run a small fridge when I am dry camping. There is no visible distribution box under the gooseneck for the trailer wiring. Will I need to add an isolator to my setup? And where does that go, on the truck or the trailer? Will the batteries still charge from the truck when I am traveling?
